Seminar will discuss challenges of renewable sources in SC and Brazil

During the 16th, 17th and 18th of August, the Renewable Energy and Development Seminar. The event aims to promote discussion about energy demands and the sector's main challenges in promoting energy generation from renewable sources.

The online seminar is promoted by BRDE (Regional Development Bank of the Far South). Those interested can watch on BRDE's YouTube channel.

The event will feature the participation of Gustavo Müller Martins, president of Renovigi, in addition to speakers, representatives of MME (Ministry of Mines and Energy), representatives of state bodies in Santa Catarina and entities in the solar sector, such as ABSOLAR (Brazilian Photovoltaic Solar Energy Association).

Also during the seminar, the importance of regulation in the photovoltaic sector will be discussed, through PL 5829/19, which creates the Legal Framework for GD (distributed generation), under discussion in the Federal Chamber.

“It is important to participate in this event and show that the creation of a legal framework can provide legal security so that people and companies continue investing in photovoltaic solar energy”, says Martins.

Recently, the company recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Government of Ceará for the installation of a factory and distribution center in the Port of Pecém, targeting the potential of the consumer market in the North and Northeast of Brazil.

“We continue to envision partnerships to achieve even more positive results and stimulate the development of the distributed generation market”, comments the president of Renovigi.
