SNEC 2023: largest solar energy fair brings together companies from 95 countries

SNEC 2023 begins with the presence of 2,8 companies

The first day of the Snec Power Expo 2023, the largest solar energy fair in the world, kicked off this Tuesday (24) with a series of new features for the photovoltaic market. The event is being held at the SNIEC (Shanghai New International Expo Center) exhibition center, located in Pudong, Shanghai, China.

In total, the 16th edition of the event is bringing together more 2,8 exhibiting companies from 95 countries in a space with more than 270 thousand square meters. 

On site, until Friday (26), several solutions covering the entire photovoltaic chain will be presented. Check out some of the main highlights of the fair below. 

Trina Solar: The company's stand featured photovoltaic modules from the Vertex line for various segments, with modules from 450 W to 730 W for residential, commercial and industrial markets. 

Jinko Solar: the company invested in presenting modules with TOPCon technology and solutions for the battery market, with storage lines that range from residential to utility-scale systems.

Canadian Solar: the company brought modules with powers of more than 700 W to the event. The company also showcased its newest inverters and energy storage in the form of a liquid-cooled lithium iron phosphate container solution. 

SNEC 2023 largest solar energy fair brings together companies from 95 panels

ZNShine: the manufacturer showcased an integrated roof system, its latest TOPCon modules and ultra-low carbon composite structure. According to the company, the Green Power Tile (roof system) maximizes the use of roof area and comprehensively reduces the cost by approximately $1,5.

Also according to ZNShine, the Green Power Tile combination technology prevents water leaks, corrosion, wind pressure, fire prevention and other safety risks over a 30-year life cycle. The clamp-type quick installation system does not require screw torque maintenance in the later stage. The system has been certified by TUV.

Growatt: the company invested in intelligent, distributed and digital solutions. At the event, photovoltaic inverters were presented, as well as energy storage and self-consumption solutions, electric vehicle chargers and intelligent energy management systems. A line was also presented that includes four new residential inverters and the company's newest battery.

Solis: the company showcased its line of three-phase and single-phase inverters, highlighting the company's three-phase commercial technology, which is rated at 20 A. The equipment also has a separate generator input that can be used when the battery runs out.
