A helexia, an international player in energy transition, delivered, in April, three solar plants for Living, as part of the GD project (distributed generation) and 100% renewable energy consumption.
The facilities are located in the cities of Alto Paraná, Cidade Gaúcha and Loanda, in the Paraná. Together, the plants total 18,4 MWp and must supply more than 1,7 consumption points the operator.
According to Helexia, the works lasted around 12 months and generated approximately 120 direct and indirect jobs in the region.
“Paraná is a state with incredible potential for energy transition and with good prospects for conscious energy consumption, as it offers good opportunities for photovoltaic plants,” said Aurélien Maudonnet, CEO of Helexia Brazil.
“Therefore, in addition to the contract with Vivo, we are envisioning other fronts, to provide energy efficiency services, for example, reinforcing Helexia’s synergistic business model in the country”, he stated.
For Caio Guimarães, director of Assets, Logistics and Purchasing at Vivo, the inauguration of systems serving Vivo in Paraná is another important step in the DG project, which foresees the installation of solar, water and biogas source units.
In March, Helexia completed works in the municipality of Paranaíba, in Mato Grosso do Sul. With this, the company reached the mark of 23,3 MWp in commercial operations in Brazil.
There will be, in total, eight thousand operator consumption points distributed among the states of Rondônia, Mato Grosso do Sul, Paraná, São Paulo, Ceará, Amazonas, Rio Grande do Sul and Tocantins.
