The solar revolution that is underway in the world and that we want for Brazil

We are facing a real revolution related to and growing exponential of solar source on a global scale.

According to data from BloombergNEFOn 2004, the world took one year to install 1 GW of installed solar capacity. In 2024, the forecast is 655 GW, that is, equivalent to two years of 2004 every day.

This happens due to the cheapening of technology solar, result of the virtuous cycle of savings de scale at the level worldwide and the concentration of production in a single country (China).

No Brazil, solar energy already he arrives a 47 GW of installed capacity second a ABSOLAR (Brazilian Solar Energy Association), starting from a nearly zero base in 2012. Of the 47 GW, almost 70% are in the GD modality (distributed generation), largely for residential applications.

The solar source has potential to know more one year strong and growing in the country driven by increase the rates of energy (Northern Region), by regulation of the use of Batteries for energy storage, by continuous reduction of the costs of the solar modules; for the versatility of applications (sunroofs, carports, projects off grid) and by expanding access to credit (BNDES).

This has brought increased appetite by financial investors, which are found in the solar projects by GD rates de profitability with two digits and investment payback period (payback) attractive, between eight and ten years old.

However, for this trajectory of and growing keep moving forward, it will be necessary overcome some challenges .

in an attempt to balance a offer de energy for large consumer centers with the forecast de demand in the months of October e November, in which the temperatures se elevate, and with the expectation of a reduction in the levels of the main water reservoirs, thermoelectric plants have been activated, with a cost extremaments high protocols for electrical system.

Another resource that has been used is courteous na generation de energy (curtailment) from renewable sources.  Second estimates of the ABSOLAR, with the measures of “curtailment” imposed in the last two years, the member of the sector were bitter losses de R $ million 237.

For a country that is committed to an energy transition journey seeking reducing the emissions de carbon, especially in the energy sector, the path should be divert da imposition de limit à production de renewable sources, and point in the direction of consolidate an infrastructure capable of accommodating solutions that stimulate the production of clean energy, eliminating the current ones bottlenecks e reducing o energy price for the end consumer, for example, through the use of batteries charged with solar energy.

So if would open No. Brazil um cycle de energy prosperity based on the solar revolution that is taking place in the world.

Good morning, we have 520ha in the backlands of Pernambuco, in the city of Petrolina, close to the Pontal Norte IRRIGATION project, how could we find a partnership to install a solar plant!?

Brazil is always moving in the opposite direction to development, for example, they taxed the sale of electric cars when they should have encouraged the sales of these vehicles, there is no incentive from the government for consumers to install solar energy in their homes, we are already in the 21st century in the post-modern era and Brazil has stopped being a third world country and has become a developing country, but the way our authorities act, we are in the third world.
