“Regarding future innovation, we are committed to bringing more renewable energy solutions to Brazil and the world.” This is what Desheng Lei, national manager of Solis in Brazil, said.
The executive highlighted that the manufacturer will supply the country with a new hybrid and off-grid system in the coming years. “In 2021, we will also bring the Solis Cloud system, which can help the inverter to be more 'smart',” he said.
According to the company, the application visualizes real-time data from the photovoltaic plant (daily, monthly, annual, total energy generation, etc.) and obtains control of the equipment's conditions in a timely manner.
“We believe that the most important things are quality and reliability, and they are always the core of our innovations,” said Lei.
Solis celebrates 15 years
The Chinese inverter manufacturer is celebrating 15 years in 2020. For Desheng Lei, during this period, Solis has managed to gain many successful experiences in Brazil, the United States, Europe and other countries.
“We are successful because we are close to customers and we know what they need. For example, we are one of the first to offer 7-10 kW single-phase inverters with 3 MPPTs in Brazil. Furthermore, we are also one of the first companies to offer three-phase inverters with 220 V output”, highlighted the executive.
“We have even set up a repair center in Brazil to support customers locally and forward their requirements to our inverter development team in China,” he added.
Brazilian market
Lei also commented that the company offers more than 35 inverter models for the Brazilian market, with powers ranging from 700 W to 255 kW. “For single phase, Solis can offer from 700 W to 10 kW. For three-phase, we have solutions from 10 kW to 110 kW”, he explained.
“With our innovation and patents, all equipment offered in Brazil supports at least 50% overload. The 75 kW inverter, for example, can even withstand 70% overload. The Solis 255 kW is one of the largest solar string inverters in the world, with strong performance at high temperatures – being able to generate 10% more energy at 50 degrees”, he pointed out.
Training
Another point highlighted by the expert is that the manufacturer offers different levels of training for all its partners in Brazil. “Training is important because the solar sector is very new. We need to teach customers how to choose and use appropriate equipment,” he concluded.
