The photovoltaic market continues to grow exponentially in the country. Last month, Brazil surpassed the 6 GW mark of operational power from photovoltaic solar sources. The number considers large plants, small and medium-sized systems installed on roofs, facades and land.
According to ABSOLAR (Brazilian Association of Photovoltaic Solar Energy), the source has already generated more than R$ 31 billion in private investments in the country, creating around 180 thousand cumulative jobs. And in distributed generation, Brazil surpassed the 3 GW mark in the market.
