One of the research with cattle from UFJ zootechnics course (Federal University of Jataí), in the interior of Goiás, was postponed after thieves stole an battery and a panel solar energy during the holiday carnival.
A university rector informed that the studies They were planned to be initiated into next week and that the equipment has not yet been replaced since the acquisition through the public service has a whole process to be followed.
Also according to the rectory, in the research the battery had the function of powering the electric fence where the cattle are kept, while the solar system generated energy in the university's external area.
