O Brazil issued, in September this year, 196 new grants for the implementation of energy projects in the energy sector GC (centralized generation), of which 147 (75% of the total) were photovoltaic plants.

Data is part of the new report company monthly ePowerBay, with updates on renewable energy projects published in the DOU (Official Gazette of the Union) and by ANEEL (National Electric Energy Agency).

According to the study, the new projects awarded represent just over 10 GW of capacity to the country, being 7,86 GW of solar power plants; 2,05 GW of wind farms and another 0,1 GW of thermoelectric plants.

In the month of September, the companies with the largest volumes in grant issuances to solar power plants were: Water and Land (1.854 MW); Ferrelli Consulting (1.000 MW) and CSS Construtora (804 MW).

Commercial operation

According to ePowerBay, Brazil accounted for, in September, entry into commercial operation of 61 generating units relating to 19 renewable energy plants in seven states, totalizing 304,7 MW.

Of this total, 160,5 MW were installed from wind farms; 83,2 MW of thermal generators; 60,1 MW from photovoltaic plants and others plus 1 MW from CGHs (Hydroelectric Generating Plants).

The companies with the highest volumes of installed capacity in the period were Enel and Aliança Energia, with 58,8 MW each. Close behind are companies such as Casa dos Ventos (43,8 MW), Siemens (40,1 MW) and AES Brasil (28,5 MW).

How do I get a photovoltaic energy course that qualifies me and leaves me ready to sell or install, residential or commercial?
