Win, a distributor of photovoltaic equipment belonging to the GAll Nations group, expects to triple the sales volume this year 2022 compared to the result obtained in 2021 and reach an amount of 300 MW in solar kits sold this year in the country.

In the last 12 months, 5.5 thousand projects were sold by the company in homes, businesses, industries and rural properties in the country, the equivalent of more than 200 thousand photovoltaic panels.

Based in Rio de Janeiro, the company is betting on bringing more powerful generators to the national market this year, such as the 605 W modules. In addition to having a low Voc of 41.7 V, which allows projects to work with larger strings, the module better dilutes the costs of cables, connectors, protection devices, among others.

Rio de Janeiro occupies 5th place among the leading cities in Solar Energy generation. According to studies by Greener, project consultancy, Win is currently one of the 15 distributors most remembered by the integrator, with a quarterly investment of R$80 million in stock. Between the first half of 2020 and 2021, an increase of 347% was recorded, becoming Premium Distributors of the Hoymiles MPLE topology and the only distributor of SolarEdge optimized inverters in Rio de Janeiro.

The growth in demand for new technologies is also something that Win expects for 2022. Hybrid inverters, battery solutions for energy storage, electric car chargers and new optimizer options for controlling energy consumption are some of the new projects that can leverage growth in sales.

Another business strategy is to expand the presence of the commercial team in Brazilian states, precisely to reinforce the relationship with installation and project companies spread across the country, called integrators.

For Camila Nascimento, Commercial Director and state representative of Rio de Janeiro at Absolar, this growth is mainly due to the capillary organization that was adopted. “We focus on regional administrators who study the market and develop strategies that operate in that specific market” and adds: “We try to get closer to customers in specific ways, understanding their product preferences and the niche they are in”, says Camila.

Another success factor in Win's growth is the investment in inventory to meet deadlines in the growing demand for solar energy projects in homes and businesses. The resources injected by the company were six times greater throughout 2021 and the prospect is to maintain the availability of equipment to supply integrator companies at a high level.

According to Camila, the demand for solar projects in homes is greater than in companies, and says that this is due to factors such as lack of space and a greater understanding of the advantages that solar energy can bring to everyday life. “Residential is skyrocketing. 60% of the volume of demand corresponds to residential projects”.
