Due to the celebration of ten years of ABSOLAR (Brazilian Association of Photovoltaic Solar Energy), the entity will meet, at the November 23rd, in the city of São Paulo (SP), authorities and actors in the solar sector for a series of attractions, tributes and launch of a commemorative book with the trajectory of the photovoltaic market and the association itself.

One of the attractions is the dinner and show by singer and composer Jorge Ben Jor, an icon of Brazilian popular music. The event, which has fintech Meu Financiamento Solar as host, takes place at Tokyo Marine Hall, in the capital of São Paulo, and is aimed at businesspeople, entrepreneurs, consultants, authorities and other professionals linked to all links in the Brazilian photovoltaic sector.

The celebrations include the launch of the online book “The star-king gives energy – with ABSOLAR’s decade-long operation, solar source becomes the second largest in the Brazilian electrical matrix… and should reach the top before 2050”. The work has sponsored support from the companies Lightsource bp, JA Solar and Amara NZero.

At dinner and show, the ABSOLAR will also pay tribute to the companies and people who started the entity's history. “The growth and evolution of the Brazilian solar photovoltaic sector and of ABSOLAR itself are directly linked to the dedicated actions of people and companies, which have elevated the solar source to a prominent position in Brazil. Therefore, we want to fraternize with all the agents who contributed and continue to contribute to this successful trajectory”, comments Ronaldo Koloszuk, president of the Board of Directors of ABSOLAR.
