ABSOLAR celebrates its ten years with dinner and show with sector agents

A ABSOLAR (Brazilian Photovoltaic Solar Energy Association) will gather, in day November 23, at the Tokyo Marine Hall, in São Paulo (SP), agents of solar sector in the country for one dinner and show by Jorge Ben Jor to celebrate you ten years from the entity.

The event, which hosts fintech Meu Financiamento Solar, is aimed at businesspeople, entrepreneurs, consultants, authorities and other professionals linked to the Brazilian photovoltaic sector.

At the ceremony, ABSOLAR will launch the online book “O astro-king of energy”, which tells the entity's trajectory over the last decade and the development of the solar energy market in this period, reporting main milestones, achievements and challenges in the sector.

According to ABSOLAR, the book tells the story of the entity's decade-long activities. Furthermore, the work reports how the photovoltaic source became the second largest Brazilian electrical matrix, with expectations that it will reach the top before 2050. The book is supported by the sponsoring companies Lightsource bp, JA Solar and Amara NZero.

At the dinner and show, ABSOLAR will also honor and reward companies and people who were and are part of the history and evolution of the association in Brazil.

“The growth and evolution of the Brazilian solar photovoltaic sector and of ABSOLAR itself are directly linked to the dedicated actions of people and companies, which have elevated the solar source to a prominent position in Brazil. Therefore, we want to fraternize with all the agents who contributed and continue to contribute to this successful trajectory”, comments Ronaldo Koloszuk, president of the Board of Directors of ABSOLAR.  

“ABSOLAR, even though it may still be considered young for the horizon of the national electricity sector, has been decisive for the evolution of the photovoltaic market in the country, since the beginning of its wider adoption within society”, adds Rodrigo Sauaia, CEO from ABSOLAR.
