A AE Solar, German manufacturer of Tier1 modules, exhibited at Intersolar South America 2022, held from August 23 to 25 in São Paulo, its three new series of photovoltaic modules: Aurora, Comet and Neptune.

During the event, thousands of visitors attended the company's stand and learned about the differences that the panels present.

Regarding the Aurora series, for example, the modules have a power of up to 670 W, with an efficiency of up to 21.6% and three different versions: monofacial, bifacial with transparent back sheet and bifacial with double glass.

All are durable and resistant to harsh environmental conditions including high ammonia, salt spray, sand and dust as well as potential induced degradation in accordance with various industry standard tests such as IEC and CE.

Comet has efficiency of up to 22.2% and power of up to 485 W. According to the company, the cards also have heterojunction (HTJ) technology.

“Thanks to the lower temperature coefficient, high efficiency, glass sandwich and great performance in low light conditions, the Comet series can be the perfect choice for moderate and extreme climates,” highlighted AE Solar.

Among the highlights is also the Neptune series, which uses hybrid technology. “In this case, the panels can produce up to 10% more electrical energy compared to standard modules and take advantage of heat losses for heating.”

Furthermore, such technology covers the minimum space, has less than two years payback period, is produced in a reliable decentralized system and is the manufacturer's suggestion against the gas crisis.

John Deyvis Gatto, partner and commercial manager at Aton Energia Sustentável, who is an integrator and installer that uses solar panels from AE Solar, also commented on the characteristics of the Neptune series and highlighted that this is a modern and practical solution that meets with the ease of taking advantage of the existing space with the water heating system already installed.

“In other words, with this solution I can generate the photovoltaic at the same time. In this case, I use the best physical space that has ever been used for both purposes, both for solar generation and water heating, which makes it easier to approach customers who find themselves in this condition”, he highlighted.

Check out, below, an exclusive interview with Ramon Nuche, director of AE Solar in Latin America, about the company's news.
