AE Solar won the “Partnership for Sustainability” award, the main award of the UN (United Nations) Global Compact initiative for sustainability, peace, environment and economic leadership.
The award aims to promote the implementation of sustainable strategies in companies, employees, management and various levels of administration.
The company, a manufacturer of photovoltaic modules, was recognized by the jury in Kiev, Ukraine, for its innovative solar photovoltaic energy solution to prevent global piracy related to the industry.
AE Solar's initiative aims to combat the action of imitators who develop fake, low-quality photovoltaic modules with a short useful life and that spoil quickly, using the name of trusted brands.
The company's solution was to integrate NFC (Near Field Communication) chips into each of its solar panels, making them identifiable. The benefits of NFC chips include:

- Quickly identify the product from your smartphone, through the app. As soon as information about the module is made available, the customer will receive a long-term guarantee of 100% sustainability;
- Provide 24-hour service, every day, from the application;
- Make available, through the application, all important information about the photovoltaic module;
- Allow the customer to interact with the AE Solar team, sharing their comments and receiving information from professionals.
