Agesolar (Regional Solar Energy Association of Rio Grande do Sul) launched a project that aims to structure an electric mobility corridor in Brazilian territory and encourage the use of non-polluting sources.
Called “Destino Solar”, the project is sponsored by Sicredi and technical-scientific support from UFSM (Federal University of Santa Maria).
The initiative aims to create a supply network for electric vehicles across the country through a planned route based on the installation of fast charging stations in commercial or public establishments.
Rodrigo Corrêa, president of the association, explains that a website was created for this to happen, on which businesses interested in installing charging points and companies selling and installing solar energy can register.
“Both the company that wants to set up a charging station, as well as the company that prefers to register as a seller and installer, can do so through the website. She just needs to fill out the technical form and wait for the evaluation by UFSM and the organization”, explains Corrêa.
When accessing the website, the public has access to two maps: one with the location and information about electric vehicle charging points in Brazil and the other with details of the companies that sell and install this type of energy.
