Albioma completes structuring of R$ 200 million for DG projects

A Albiome completed the structuring of R$ 200 million in private commercial notes, in a single series, to finance the construction of construction projects distributed minigeneration solar project in development, implementation and still under prospecting by the group.

The full creditor of the transaction is the bank BTG Pactual, which has already made its first payment. The credit structuring included exclusive financial advice from Watt Capital, legal advice to the issuer by the firm Tauil and Checker associated with Mayer Brown, legal advice to the creditor by the office Mattos Filho and technical advice by Energy Group.

The issuance was structured in the modality project finance with a term of 26 months and was carried out by the subsidiary Albioma Solar Brasil III. The credit will be used to finance up to 65 MW in new GD I photovoltaic projects, in different states.

According to Albioma, this new portfolio of projects is additional to the 50 MW in operational assets and in the commissioning phase held by Albioma's subsidiaries. Albiome.

“This issuance of commercial notes was an important milestone because, added to the company's own capital contributions, it guarantees 100% of the capital necessary to execute our investment plan”, he highlighted Christiano Forman, CEO of Albioma in Brazil,.

“We will now work on structuring long-term financing to complete the structuring of the projects. Furthermore, we continue to prospect new DG I projects, as we have not yet reached our expansion target”, he concluded.
