A distributor Aldo Solar presented 40% growth in retail in the first quarter of this year. The highlight was the sales in the amount of photovoltaic kits.

In an interview with Solar Channel, Thiago Varanda, commercial director, celebrated the results obtained by the company and highlighted that the number achieved is within the company's plans. “The prospect that we are very much within the plan we have drawn up makes us very confident,” he stated.

For the second quarter, Varanda says the company will invest in special projects, energy storage and electric mobility. Still according to the director, the tripod results from the consolidation of the brand in the retail market.

Varanda also commented that these three business units will remain firm throughout the year. “In 2024, Aldo will build the base of these segments, for their large-scale consolidations from 2025 onwards. We understand that these lines of business need a distributor with a solid base, committed to its customers and with respected brands in its portfolio, to have healthy growth”, he added.

Northeast: an important market for Aldo Solar

Another point highlighted by Varanda was the performance of Aldo Solar in the Northeast. The region is considered by the company as a fundamental market for solar energy.

According to him, this is due to the recurrence, capillarity and purchase volume, which continues to rise steadily. Very focused on kits for businesses and homes.

“Aldo likes to spread a lot nationally, so the five regions are very dense, but the Northeast has this characteristic of always being very present, with large volume and high recurrence. So we understand that we always have to bring new initiatives”, he concluded.
