To the Solar Channel, Cunha highlighted that the hot and little rainy climate in the region favors the scenario. “We are the fifth largest state in the country, we have a relief characterized by plains and low vegetation. To achieve this, we need to invest in education, training and training, making professionals aware of the importance of energy transformation in the decarbonization of the planet.

“In 2021, we carried out an action at the Center for Science and Technology in Energy and Sustainability, where the Federal University of Recôncavo Baiano is located, with electrical engineers who learned how to implement a solar plant. The objective was for engineering students to learn and improve the theoretical knowledge acquired in practice,” said Cunha.
