ANEEL (National Electric Energy Agency) released 230.38 MW for commercial operation in November 2020, 88% from wind farms and 12% from solar photovoltaic plants.
In 2020, the agency's inspection released 4,003.99 MW in 19 states in Brazil. In other words, more than half of the federative units in Brazil gained at least one plant this year.
Last month, Paraíba had the first plant entering commercial operation in 2020, with 27 MW of installed capacity.
Another point highlighted by ANEEL is that 62 plants are being tested for operation, 15 of which were released in November.
Among the states, the highlight was Piauí, which obtained 126 MW of added power in the month. According to the agency, this is 54.7% of the country's total generation capacity in November.
Bahia also saw a jump in installed capacity in the month, with an increase of 87.38 MW.
