ANEEL releases three solar plants in MG for commercial operation

The National Electric Energy Agency (ANEEL) released for commercial operation, as of February 28, three centralized solar plants, located in the municipalities of Janaúba and Araxá, in Minas Gerais, totaling 145 MW of installed capacity.

All 252 generating units at the Janaúba 15 and 17 plants were released, totaling 100 MW. In addition to the 14 units of the Araxá 2 plant, totaling 45 MW.

The authorizations are contained in the Aneel order published in the Official Gazette of the Union last Tuesday, 28th.

March has a green flag

ANEEL reported that the tariff flag for this month it will remain green. The announcement was made last Friday (24).

According to the Agency, the green flag remained due to favorable conditions for generation in the country. “The signs indicate that there will be no additional cost on consumers’ electricity bills, a scenario that has remained in place since April 2022.”
