ANEEL (National Electric Energy Agency) will hold a Public Hearing to debate the Periodic Tariff Review of Equatorial Pará Distribuidora de Energia S/A, on June 16, in Belém (PA). The distributor serves 2.94 million consumer units located in the state.

The Agency proposes an average tariff increase of 16.85%. For residential consumers (B1) the increase should be 18.32%; for high voltage consumers on average (industries) it will be 10.63%.

The Hearing will be led by Fernando Mosna, director of ANEEL, which will take effect from August 7th.

“The items that had the greatest impact on the calculations were the removal of financial components from the previous process, in addition to costs with sector charges, transport and energy purchases”, points out ANEEL.

It is the second Public Hearing of RTP of Equatorial Pará, which receives contributions until June 23rd to the following emails:
