APsystems hires Mariani Pereira and strengthens partnership with Ecori in Brazil

Engineer will strengthen the brand's relationship with its customers and continue the technical support initiated at Ecori

The solid partnership between Ecori It is APsystems is even stronger with the hiring of Engineer Mariani Pereira, former technical support manager at Ecori Solar Energy, for the APsystems team in Latin America.

In his new role as national support manager APsystems, the 32-year-old professional aims to continue the work that Ecori already carries out for the world leader in microinverters in Brazil, in addition to further strengthening the brand's presence in the country.

We spoke with Mariani Pereira to understand more about this moment, its challenges and expectations. Check it out below:

How was your journey so far?

I am an electrical engineer, postgraduate in Electrical Power Systems and have always wanted to work in the photovoltaic sector. In 2019, I had an interview at Ecori, got the job and joined the company as a Technical Support Analyst.

I took advantage of the first months to study the products, the technological differences and understand more about MLPE. With little time at Ecori, the APsystems team came to Brazil and I started to have a good relationship with them. After this meeting, came the opportunity to visit the factory in China, where we strengthened the relationship between the APsystems engineers, who develop the products, and the Ecori Technical Support team.

This relationship, over time, became increasingly closer and extended to the entire Ecori team of engineers and technicians. As a result, customer service has been improved, becoming increasingly technical and precise. In 2020, I was invited to take over Product Management and, then, as Technical Support Manager at Ecori, I started to take care of all support services for APsystems in Brazil, in addition to other brands in the Ecori portfolio.

How did the opportunity to join the APsystems Latam team in Brazil come about?

Since I met the team, we have developed a close relationship, which has made Ecori's service much easier. When this opportunity came up, I thought: 'I need it and I'm going to take it'. In fact, I felt comfortable talking about the brand, so I couldn't miss this chance. It's a great challenge, an incredible opportunity and I can only thank Ecori for offering me this possibility and for believing in me.

Believe a girl who left college in 2016, had her first experience at Ecori in 2019 and is now taking on a role at a company that is a world leader in multi-module microinverters. It's an immense responsibility and I believe that when you do your work with love, all challenges become enjoyable. That's how I'm seeing this moment.

What will it be like from now on?

From now on I am national manager of APsystems Support. I will take on other fronts, going beyond the technical part. I will work with products and also with the commercial side. The main focus is to take care of all APsystems products sold here in Brazil.

What are your expectations for this new moment?

My expectation is to work hard to focus on the needs of the brand's customers and continue offering the market an agile and quality service. I believe in even greater growth for APsystems here in Brazil, a brand of extreme quality, which is always thinking ahead of its time, which focuses on the safety and quality of products and always seeks to provide the best experience for the customer.

So, I will work for this continued growth and seek, together with APsystems, to continue and improve this work done by the Ecori team here in Brazil.

What are the main challenges in the new role?

I believe that the main challenge, or rather, my mission now, will be to further raise the level of service and deliver the best experience for the production chain as a whole, from the distributor, reseller to the end customer. And also understand the needs and challenges of each region of Brazil, always valuing quality and safety in all services provided.

Did you imagine being where you are today in a relatively short space of time?

I didn't imagine! I have always wanted to work with development and innovation. When I received the opportunity to join the Ecori technical team, in 2019, I made a commitment to always do my best and I knew I would have the opportunity to grow. But I never imagined it would be so fast and that one day I would represent a big brand like APsystems. I am sure that this is the stepping stone to a new stage of great challenges and growth.

What advice would you give to those who are just starting out and want to pursue the solar energy market?

Never give up! If you have a goal, go after it. Study, work, focus, improve yourself, be professional, look for what you want and don't give up until you achieve it. And most importantly, respect all people, regardless of role or position, because respect is essential.

Furthermore, seek as much knowledge as possible, because we are always learning something new and that is what keeps us active and alive within the profession. If you're scared, go ahead and grab the opportunity!
