A ARaymond announced that it is providing clips fastening exclusive To the 6 series photovoltaic modules from the First Solar. According to the company, the solutions provide quick and simple assembly, allowing customers to reduce the total cost of the project.
Among the highlights are the PowAR Slot FS6, for fixed ground structures, and the PowAR Wedge FS6, for tracker structures.
As PowAR Slot FS6, specifically designed for uneven terrain, the average installation time for a module is 30 seconds, eliminating constant retorque maintenance.
Furthermore, it has lower maintenance costs, as it does not have screws, and performs fixing and grounding in a single operation.
The same is done in profiles of the hat shape model (widely used in Europe) and model '“C” (most common in Brazil), with the oblong adapted to receive the clips and thus fix the panel on the side of the (frame), as shown in the image below:
Already installing the clip PowAR Wedge FS6, according to the manufacturer, is carried out through a small adaptation in the omega profile called “punch” or “square hole”.
“In the version for fixed structure as a tracker, the same clip performs the function of the middle clamp and end clamp, thus making life easier for installers”, they emphasized.
“In fact, the benefits are the same as the ground clip, but this has the added bonus of being validated by the First Solar module manufacturer itself,” added the company.
For this solution, the fixings are also made on the lower side of the module frames, as shown in the figure below:
