Two men were arrested last afternoon Thursday (22), suspected of having caused damage of more than R$ 40 thousand to a rural owner in the municipality of Três Lagoas, in the interior of the state of Mato Grosso do Sul.

The police, together with the Regional Intelligence Center, began investigations and found the addresses of the suspects, both were neighbors and residents of a neighborhood close to the crime scene.
In the house of one of them, the police found the stolen objects. The duo was arrested and confessed to committing the crime. It was also investigated the participation of a third robber, who has already been identified and is on the run.
The seized objects were returned to the owner and the two men will be charged with committing the crime of qualified theft, and may be sentenced to up to eight years in prison.
