BYD will display Harpia N-Type TOPCon module at Rural Show 2023

The manufacturer's new product should be launched on the market in the second quarter of this year

O Coopavel Rural Show, which takes place annually in the municipality of Cascavel (PR), will feature the presence of the manufacturer BYD. The 35th edition of the event will take place between the 6th and 10th of February, with the aim of increasing the productivity of small, medium and large rural properties.

The company will display your complete product solution, including the most recent release, the Harpia N-Type TOPCon from 555 Wp – 575 W. The 540m² stand will also feature cars sold by BYD in Brazil, as well as 100% electric forklifts and pallet trucks.

“Harpia presents several differentiators, such as greater energy efficiency and low thermal coefficient (12.8% lower than previous products)”, stated the manufacturer.

The product also has reduced rates of LID (Light-Induced Degradation) and PID (Power-Induced Degradation) over time, in addition to a lower degradation rate of 0.5% per year, compared to around 0.7% of previous equipment. .

According to the company, the new equipment should be launched on the market from the second quarter of this year and aims to revolutionize the solar energy sector, with its high national technology, manufactured in Campinas (SP).

Other solutions presented

The stand will also bring together other important brand products, such as the BYD integrated solution, consisting of photovoltaic modules, hybrid and off-grid inverters, lithium batteries and electric vehicle chargers.

“This demonstrates the leadership and pioneering spirit of BYD, one of the largest clean energy companies on the globe, which is consolidating itself as the only brand capable of providing all solutions”, recalls Marcelo Taborda, sales director at BYD Energy do Brasil.

Taborda also highlighted the extent of use of photovoltaic modules in agribusiness, especially in main activities such as irrigation and solar pumping. “In addition to the benefits guaranteed by the Safra plan, which includes full specialized support from BYD Energy for customers, distributors and integrators”, he adds.

Last year, the Rural Show received approximately 285 thousand visitors, attended by 585 exhibitors and generated more than R$ 3 billion in business volumes.
