Executives from national and international industries and companies, representatives of institutions and public authorities involved with sustainability It is carbon capture and storage are among the speakers confirmed for the CCS Tech Summit.
The second edition of the congress focused on the topic of Carbon Capture and Storage, promoted by CCS Brasil in partnership with Interlink Exhibitions, will be held this Wednesday (5) and Thursday (6) at ExpoMag, in Rio de Janeiro (RJ).
The congress will be held during Carbon Capture Expo South America, a national fair aimed at the sector, which takes place parallel to the Hydrogen Expo South America, focused on the hydrogen and decarbonization production chain.
Among the participants are Niall Mac Dowell, Professor of Power Systems Engineering at Imperial College London; Claude Letourneau, CEO of Svante Technologies; It is Raquel Filgueiras, project manager and advisor at Innovation Norway South America.
Also among the highlights are the presence of Heloisa Borges, director of Studies for Oil and Gas at EPE (Energy Research Company) and, Solange David, professor and vice-president of the Board of Directors of Santo Antônio Energia.
The event will also feature representatives from Brazilian and international industry such as ArcellorMittal, Vallourec, Repsol and Petrobras, from financial institutions such as BNDES, Bank BTG Pactual and Investe SP, lawyers, academics and professors, as well as representatives from the Ministry of Mines and Energy, EPE, Federal Senate, Brazilian Institute of Petroleum and Gas and ISI Biomassa.
The presence of the federal deputy is still confirmed Arnaldo Jardim, rapporteur of the PL Fuel of the Future. The event will feature panels that will debate the relevance of CCS for carbon neutrality in Brazil, in addition to addressing international experiences and collaborations in carbon capture and storage.
