The proposal for the CPFL Piratininga Tariff Review (Companhia Piratininga de Força e Luz) was held last Thursday (24), in a public hearing, promoted by ANEEL (National Electric Energy Agency), at the Santos Commercial Association (SP).
The in-person session was led by the director of ANEEL, Hélvio Guerra, and was attended by 53 people. Among them were representatives of the CPFL Consumer Council and the City of Santos, as well as environmentalists, businesspeople and technicians from the concessionaire.
The new tariffs will come into effect from October 23, 2023 for approximately 1.8 million consumer units in 27 municipalities in the interior and coast of São Paulo.
The expectation is that the values will be approved at the Ordinary Public Meeting of the ANEEL board on October 17th.
According to ANEEL, “the item that had the greatest impact on the proposed index reduction was the removal of financial components determined in the previous tariff calculation, responsible for an amortization of -3.84%”.
