A farm located in the city of Quirinópolis, around 300 km from Goiânia (GO), has an innovative project. The site houses the largest hybrid photovoltaic system for irrigation in Brazil. The complex, which is also one of the largest in the world, integrates solar energy, diesel and batteries.
In total, the rural property has six pivots, supplied through a 750 kVA generator from Caterpillar and a 773 kWp photovoltaic plant – with 2,310 335 W modules from Caterpillar. JA Solar and seven 100 kVA inverters from SMA – in addition to a battery bank from Tesvolt 300 kWh of autonomy.
