Copel, an energy concessionaire that serves the state of Paraná, scheduled a public hearing for 10 am on June 1st to discuss the process of transforming the company into a corporation.

The objective is to publicize the main aspects of the OPA (Public Offering of Shares) operation. The hearing will be held exclusively remotely.

Copel, which serves 4 million consumer units, is the largest company in the state of Paraná, created in 1950. The privatization foresees the sale of 31.1% of the state government's stake.
