CPFL Paulista has implemented six photovoltaic solar plants in public and private hospitals located in the interior of São Paulo, with a planned power of 432.75 kWp.
The installations, which are part of the Company's energy efficiency projects, were built in the municipalities of Amparo, Brotas, Espírito Santo do Pinhal, Mombuca, Ribeirão Bonito and Serra Negra.
The company's investments in the projects total R$ 1.42 million. In addition to the plants, 1,489 conventional light bulbs were replaced with LEDs.
According to the company, investment in the project will reduce consumption by approximately 627.62 MWh per year, generating savings of approximately R$ 266 thousand per year.
The action is part of CPFL's sustainability plan, which estimates applying more than R$ 1.8 billion to drive the transition to producing and consuming energy in a sustainable and intelligent way by 2024.
