O Crea-SP (Regional Council of Engineering, Architecture and Agronomy of the State of São Paulo) was the target of a cyber attack. On its official website, the agency reports that part of its database was compromised and that member information was leaked during hacking.

The communication was made yesterday and the entity's website remains offline. The website was taken offline, according to Crea-SP, as a security measure. More information can be obtained by calling 0800 017 18 11.

According to the agency, the incident has already been registered with the Federal police and the Digital Crimes Police Station. Crea-SP also reported that “a company specializing in cybersecurity is working to map and resolve the vulnerability as quickly as possible, in addition to understanding the extent of what was leaked”.

CREA SP Announcement/Disclosure

O Solar Channel sought out the Crea-SP press office to clarify how services offered by the agency can be requested, such as issuance of ART (Technical Responsibility Note), and whether the site is expected to return to normal. However, until the closing of this report, the Council did not respond.

Canal Solar investigated with other Regional Engineering, Architecture and Agronomy Councils and it was verified that all councils are operating normally. In other words, the hackers' action, for now, only impacted the state of São Paulo.
