O Crea-SP (Regional Engineering and Agronomy Council of the State of São Paulo) carried out 91.7 thousand inspection actions In the first three months of the year, of which 1,145 involved solar power plants.
O quarterly balance sheet refers to the activities in the 645 municipalities of São Paulo and all inspections aimed to verify the presence of qualified professionals to ensure the safety of the work carried out.
From 2015 to 2022, the inspections by the entity increased by around 1.600%, culminating in a historic record last year, with more than 462 thousand actions carried out across the State.
For this year, the The goal is to carry out 600 thousand operations, which according to engineer Maria Edith dos Santos, supervision superintendent at Crea-SP, will not be difficult to achieve, due to the numbers already recorded in the first quarter.
“We continue to reinforce task forces in municipalities and partnerships with other public bodies and institutions. With this, we believe that we will reach the stipulated goal”, highlighted the professional.
General balance
Of the total of more than 90 thousand inspections carried out between January and March, there were: 42,141 within the scope of civil engineering; 17,671 in electrical engineering; 13,709 in mechanical and metallurgical engineering; 7,885 in occupational safety engineering and 2,979 in chemical engineering.
In addition, another 3,911 inspections involved the agronomy segment, 1,748 the surveying segment and 1,714 the geology and mining segment. According to Crea-SP, the numbers involving solar energy fall within the scope of inspections in the field of electrical engineering.
