According to João Marques da Cruz, CEO of EDP Brasil, the investments in distributed generation will benefit directly to companies and consumers in Goiás.
“The investment will be made by us and consumers, as a result, will pay a lower price than that charged by the distributor. It will be a two-year contract and, at the end of it, people and companies will be able to choose which method they will opt for. However, we believe that they will remain loyal to GD, because it has an economic and environmental advantage, without initial investment”, he stated.
