“On your roof you can earn good money and stop paying for a lot of your energy without doing absolutely anything.” This is what businessman Jurandir Floss assessed.

The owner of Pointer mechanics, located in Chapecó (SC), decided to invest in sustainable sources and installed a photovoltaic system in his establishment.

The plant, which has been in operation for over a year, meets all the electrical energy expenditure of the mechanics, his residence and a country house. In total, there are 45 340 W modules and a 20 kW Renovigi inverter, totaling a power of 13.30 kWp.

The advantage is such that the customer already has accumulated credits on the network, as highlighted by Rafael Biondo, from Biondotech Energia Solar, a company accredited by Renovigi and responsible for the project.

According to Floss, the average generation is 1,221 kWh per month. Before installing the solar plant, the electricity bill was approximately R$ 650. Today the monthly cost is R$ 114, a reduction of 90%.

“You never stop paying for water and electricity. Photovoltaic energy brought savings to our business and was one of the decisive factors. Today we spend only 10% of what we spent before and, in addition to saving, I am making money,” highlighted the businessman.

In Chapecó alone, Renovigi has already installed more than 230 solar systems. The distributor counts on a partnership with Sicoob to finance its products with the availability of any individual and legal entity to finance, whether associated or not.

“We believe in the development of the communities where we are located and from the moment that Sicoob finances a solar energy plant, in addition to reducing customer costs, we fulfill our purpose of assisting in the development of our associates”, highlighted Jussara Maria Bertol, superintendent from Sicoob Maxicrédito.
