The company Shizen Energy, a startup Japanese company, will build its first solar energy plant in Brazil, located in the Federal District. Initially with a power of 1 MW and an investment of around R$ 5 million, the company plans to expand generation to 20 MW after the first year.
The plant will operate on a shared generation model, allowing consumers to purchase shares in the plant and benefit from the energy generated in the form of credits. All the energy produced by the plant will be used by consumers located in the concession area of Companhia Energética de Brasília (CEB), which will achieve reductions of around 20% in electricity costs.
In addition to Brazil, the Japanese company operates in several Asian countries and the United States.
