A ABSOLATE (Brazilian Photovoltaic Solar Energy Association) will promote on July 6th, a debate regarding the expansion of free market and the market opportunities at the Theater B32, at Avenida Brigadeiro Faria Lima, Vila Nova Conceição, in São Paulo (SP).

The debate aims to discuss issues on the expansion of the ACL (Free Contracting Environment), known as the free electricity market, and the participation and potential of solar sources in the segment.

Topics also stand out: solar sources in the ACL for industrial and commercial consumers, the strengthening of ESG policies with free market contracts and the prospects for self-production with photovoltaic projects.

The meeting will feature the participation of businesspeople and authorities from the main entities in the sector, in addition to ABSOLAR's own leaders, consultants, legal operators and representatives of the private sector.

The CCEE (Electric Energy Trading Chamber), Abraceel (Brazilian Association of Energy Traders), and Anace (National Association of Energy Consumers) will be present in the debate.

Abiape (Brazilian Association of Investors in Self-Production of Energy) and Abrace (Brazilian Association of Large Industrial Energy Consumers and Free Consumers).

According to ABSOLAR data, Brazil exceeded 9 GW of operational power in large solar plants, with part of the projects destined for the free energy market.

Since 2012, large solar plants have brought more than R$ 46.2 billion in new investment and more than 280.2 thousand jobs accumulated.
