During the SNEC 2020 fair, China's largest solar technology event, based in Shanghai, JA Solar showcased its 800W (810W) ultra-high power module.
According to the company, the module series is available in six versions offering power outputs of 785-810 W and efficiencies ranging from 20.1 to 20.8%.
The PERC 240-cell panel features an 11-busbar triple cutout design, with 210mm wafers. The dimensions of the module are 2,219 × 1,765 x 40 mm and it weighs 43.5 kg.
Electrical Specifications in STC | |
Open circuit voltage (Voc) | 81.90 – 82.68 V |
Maximum power voltage (Vpp) | 68.39 – 69.84 V |
Short-circuit current (Isc) | 12.50 – 12.20 A |
According to the manufacturer, the ambient operating temperature ranges from -40 to 85 °C and the maximum system voltage is 1,500 V.
JA Solar says it offers a 12-year product warranty and 25-year energy production guarantee. The annual linear degradation over 25 years is indicated at 0.55%, while the degradation for the first year of the panel's life is limited to 1.5%.
“SNEC is one of the main fairs in the sector where manufacturers launch their main new products. In this edition, JA brought the configuration trend for ultra-high power modules. Naturally, the product is going through an evolutionary process before gaining market scale, but we can observe the company's avant-garde spirit by presenting the most powerful module in the sector with a series of embedded technologies”, highlighted Felipe Santos, sales manager at JA Solar.
