A Elera Renováveis, a subsidiary company of Brookfield Renewable, will neutralize to the emissions in CO2 (greenhouse gases) in five events of the renewables sector, which will take place until November this year. A partnership was made with the Viex, responsible for organizing events for the sector in renewable.
At meetings, Elera will issue you I-RECs (International Renewable Energy) which prove the production of energy from sources renewable, such as solar, wind, hydroelectric, among others.
Each certificate represents the generation of a certain amount in clean energy and is issued when this energy is produced.
The I-RECs equivalent The 1 MWh of energy generated and can be used for neutralize emissions of Scope 2 – greenhouse gas emissions associated with indirect energy consumed by an organization, such as electricity, heat or steam acquired from external sources.
The events that will receive you certificates will be the 7th CAMBI (Environmental Congress), which will take place on the 25th, 26th and 27th of June, in São Paulo (SP); and the 16th National Wind Forum scheduled for the 13th and 14th of August, in Brasília (DF).
O 2nd Wind of Change (meeting of investors in offshore wind, onshore and green hydrogen), which will take place on the 18th and 19th of September, in Porto Alegre (RS), and the 15th LASE meeting (Environmental Leaders in the Energy Sector) scheduled for the 5th and 7th of November, in São Paulo (SP) will also receive the certificate.
Finally, the Solar Invest (Meeting of Investors in Photovoltaic Solar Energy) held at the beginning of May, in Rio de Janeiro (RJ), already he had your certificates issued, guaranteeing the traceability of their consumption.
