Theft of PV equipment during carnival postpones UFJ research

Bandits invaded the university and took a battery and a solar energy panel from the zootechnics course

One search with cattle from UFJ zootechnics course (Federal University of Jataí), in the interior of Goiás, was postponed after thieves stole one battery it is a panel solar energy during the holiday carnival

A university rector reported that the studies they were predicted to be initiated into next week and that the equipment has not yet been replaced since the acquisition through the public service has a whole process to be followed.

Also according to the rectory, in the research the battery had the function of powering the electric fence where the cattle are kept, while the solar system generated energy in the university's external area. 

You equipment also were used in classes and scientific experiments of students dthe zootechnics course from UFJ. 

Because of what happened, the Federal police was on campus analyzing the location and searching for security camera footage. The value and technical information about the technologies stolen by the criminals were not disclosed.
