Growatt expands portfolio with high power inverters

The inverter manufacturer Growatt expanded its portfolio with the launch of the MAX 100-125KTL3-X LV inverter. The new equipment was presented at SNEC 2021, in Shanghai, China. 

According to the company, the inverter has a maximum string input current of up to 16A, being compatible with high power panels with more than 500 W.

“This new inverter is designed for large commercial and industrial solar power plants and will maximize return on investment,” says Lisa Zhang, Marketing Director at Growatt. 

The inverter has 10 MPPTs and allows for different solar panel orientations to optimize power generation. It also features SPD type II on both AC and DC sides, and an optional AFCI function to provide protection for the PV system. 

Furthermore, the equipment has an IP66 level of protection against dust and water, and can operate in adverse conditions such as high humidity, extreme temperatures and atmospheric pollution and in coastal areas with high salinity.

“This MAX 100-125KTL3-X LV inverter model is undoubtedly potential in the Brazilian market, the same is Growatt's way of presenting an ideal inverter also for the largest projects in Brazil”, highlights Talyson Alves, Growatt's Marketing Manager in Brazil.

Also according to the manufacturer, the MAX 100-125KTL3-X LV features intelligent online monitoring and troubleshooting, with O&M tools (theoperation and maintenance) advanced remote controls for smart string monitoring, smart IV curve scanning and diagnostics for installers.

“The introduction of the MAX 100-125KTL3-X LV inverter is part of our continued effort to remain at the forefront of technology and product innovation,” highlights Zhang.
