MME transition technical group is defined

O vice president-elect Geraldo Alckmin announced in Brasília (DF), this Wednesday (16), the new members of technical working groups from the transition office of Jair Bolsonaro's government to that of Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva.

Among the names that will make up the Mines and Energy GT, they are:

  • Anderson Adauto, former Minister of Transport from 2003 to 2004;
  • David Barcelar, general coordinator of the FUP (Frente Única dos Petroleiros);
  • Fernando Ferro, engineer specializing in electrical systems and former federal deputy for Pernambuco;
  • Giles Azevedo, geologist and former chief of staff at the MME (Ministry of Mines and Energy);
  • Guto Quintela, agronomist and businessman and on the board of directors of the Amazon Entrepreneurship Center;
  • Ícaro Chaves, electrical engineer and director of the Association of Engineers and Technicians of the Eletrobras System;
  • Jean Paul Prates, senator for the states of Rio Grande do and president of the Union of Companies in the Energy Sector of RN;
  • Magda Chambriard, former director general of the ANP (National Petroleum Agency);
  • Mauricio Tomasquin, professor at UFRJ (Federal University of Rio de Janeiro). He was executive secretary and interim minister of the MME and president of EPE (Energy Research Company);
  • Nelson Hubner, was also interim minister of MME and general director of ANEEL (National Electric Energy Agency);
  • Robson Sebastião Formica; energy specialist and member of the MAB (Movement of People Affected by Dams);
  • William Nozak, director of INEEP (Institute for Strategic Studies of Petroleum, Natural Gas and Biofuels).
