A Helexia, a subsidiary of Voltalia and international player focused on energy transition, announced the signing of a 46 MW contract with Exata Energia, a Prime Energy company and one of the largest traders of electricity from Brazil.
The partnership signed between Helexia and Exata Energia provides for the supply of 46 MW of photovoltaic energy over 20 years, spread across a set of 14 decentralized projects.
The agreement was signed in August and three projects are already under construction, totaling 18.2MW. Photovoltaic plants will be installed in Paraná, Goiás and São Paulo and delivery of all projects is scheduled for the end of 2024.
“Helexia’s growth in Brazil is remarkable and I congratulate all the Helexia teams on this new contract”, declares Sébastien Clerc, director of Voltalia.
“This agreement marks an important step in Helexia’s commitment to developing green and decentralized energy projects. We are pleased to collaborate with Prime Energy to achieve this common vision,” adds Benjamin Simonis, director of the Helexia Group.
