Continuing with the expansion of its operations in the Brazilian solar energy market, the manufacturer of photovoltaic modules Helius Sunlink PV announced the launch of panels HELIUS Genesis 615W ZBB with zero busbar technology for Brazil.

According to the manufacturer, the country has become one of the company's main focuses, both to guide the R&D (Research and Development) in the development of new products that meet the needs of the public, as well as for the launch of new technologies.

The first shipment of the manufacturer's new models has already taken place and the products will be available from May. Helius explains that the new technology consists of using ultrathin busbars, almost imperceptible, conducting electrical current continuously between the cells.

“In this new technology, we can generate more energy by reducing cell coverage by Busbar buses. Therefore, there is an increase in efficiency, guaranteeing great results even on cloudy days. Furthermore, in aesthetic terms, with the thinning of the busbars, the module has a much more sophisticated appearance”, highlights Eduard Krummenauer, country manager at Helius Sunlink PV.

Another point highlighted by Krummenauer was in relation to the lower final module cost with zero busbar technology. “When we use ultra-thin busbars, there is a reduction in the use of conductive metals, such as copper, silver and tin, which reduces the final cost of the product”, he points out.
