Photovoltaic inverter manufacturer Huayu announced a new feature for the energy storage market in Brazil: the Energy Storage Solution.

According to the company, the equipment can function as a backup – ensuring a continuous supply of energy in the event of a grid interruption or poor performance of the wind turbine or diesel generator, for example.

“The solution can help homeowners maximize self-consumption, which is when you produce electricity and use it to power your appliances, and increase energy independence,” the company highlighted in a statement.

With intelligent control of the electricity flow, the product is designed to change the working modes of a fast charging system between on-grid, off-grid and backup standard.

“This allows homeowners to get a financially advantageous energy bill and stable power supply thanks to its zero export, peak shaving and UPS (uninterruptible power supply) capabilities,” the company explained.

Rapid shutdown

Huayu also highlighted that, for each energy storage inverter, they provide rapid shutdown devices (quick shutdown of the photovoltaic system). “These devices are essential when we really consider safety for installers, firefighters and our families under the roofs”, reported the manufacturer.

Other releases

After the launch of the Huayu 4 MPPT HY-2000-Plus high-power microinverter, Huayu introduced to the market the upgraded versions HY-300/400/500-Pro and HY-300/400/500/600-ACM, compatible with panels high power solar panels (from 300 Wp to 750 Wp). The company emphasized that the thickness of its microinverter is only 25 mm and its product is the thinnest in the world compared to all other solar microinverters out there.
