One study published by CNI (National Confederation of Industry) points out that the industrial sector is today responsible for consumption of 41% of all energy produced in Brazil.

Currently, almost 40 thousand industries in Brazil already have a solar energy system installed in DG segment (distributed generation), according to data from ANEEL (National Electric Energy Agency).
One of the industries that has benefited from solar sources, for example, is the BAC Group, with the installation of a 420 kWp system at the manufacturing unit in São Gotardo (MG).
The photovoltaic plant is expected to generate close to 50,000 kW through 740 555 Wp solar panels. All equipment used, including inverters, is from WEG.
