The stand of SMA at the Intersolar Summit 2023, which will take place between the 18th and 19th of April in Fortaleza, will feature the company's main launches aimed at the commercial and industrial area.
Among the highlights are the SMA EV Charger Business, a commercial charging infrastructure for stations aimed at quickly refueling EVs (electric vehicles), which allows different pricing models and energy source management, whether supplying from the grid, just from the solar or hybrid system.
Each charger has two fast charging connectors for EVs, including charging cable and type 2 plugs or conventional sockets. As part of the SMA Energy System Business, the SMA EV Charger Business is an electric mobility solution embedded in the SMA intelligent energy management environment.
The equipment integrates photovoltaic generation, storage, connection to the grid and electric mobility systems, allowing expansion of the systems, according to customer demands.
Thanks to the RFID and OCPP interface, the charger can be flexibly integrated into various charging backends and billing systems. Additionally, it can be wall-mounted or installed as a standalone charging station.
Regarding the advantages, the new SMA solution has flexible use, both in new and existing photovoltaic systems, and the use in a single device with two charging points, optimizing spaces and connections, in parks with several refueling points .
The new solution allows simultaneous charging at both points at up to 22 kW per charger, has an integrated RFID card reader and is integrated into an SMA system already installed and operational.
Sunny Tripower Storage X
The other highlight of the SMA stand at the Summit is Sunny Tripower Storage X, a solution for commercial and industrial photovoltaic systems. The integrated System Manager function with direct access to Sunny Portal monitors up to five SMA inverters and an energy meter. This new function enables dynamic closed-loop control of active and reactive power via SMA Dynamic Power Control.
Thanks to the wide input voltage range and high input current capacity, it is compatible with the latest generation of high-performance photovoltaic modules.
According to the company, the innovative design guarantees efficient cooling of the electronic components and, therefore, guarantees maximum useful life for the Sunny Tripower Storage X.
During product operation, users benefit from SMA's integrated software solutions, including SMA ShadeFix, which increases photovoltaic yield even in partial shading, while SMA ArcFix detects electrical arcs and can reduce the risk of fire. reliably.
