Itaú Unibanco launches credit line for solar energy

O Itaú Unibanco announced the creation of a new line of credit for financing solar panels in Brazil. At the moment, the initiative is only available to clients from more than a thousand selected agencies

Shortly, the new feature will also be available to all bank customers – that to obtain the benefit they must enter into contact with managers to present the budget or forward the formalization of the request via digital channels. 

The credit offered charges a fee of interest of 1.85% per month, with maximum value available of R$ 110 thousand and without a stipulated minimum value. Payment can be made in up to 72 times, with 90 days to start paying off debts.

Financing solar energy systems, whether through public banks, private banks or other associations, plays a fundamental role in the growth of the sector, as it is through it that Most Brazilian consumers are able to access technology.
