According to the manufacturer, the increases recorded are due to the improvement in sales efforts, the implementation of new production capacity constructions and the optimization of its supply chain management.

N Type Modules

Aiming to meet the demand for solar panels, JA Solar has been increasing, throughout this year, its production capacity for high-efficiency N-type photovoltaic modules.

The manufacturer has several plants, which operate both in the manufacture of cells and photovoltaic modules, and the main ones for type N manufacturing are:

  • Cell manufacturing in Baotou. Capacity: 20 GW;
  • Cell manufacturing in Vietnam. Capacity: 2.5 GW;
  • Cell manufacturing in Vietnam. Capacity: 2.5 GW;
  • Cell manufacturing in NingJin. Capacity: 6 GW;
  • Cell manufacturing in NingJin. Capacity: 5 GW;
  • Cell manufacturing in Yangzhou. Capacity: 10 GW;
  • Cell manufacturing in Qujing. Capacity: 10 GW;
  • Module manufacturing in Qujing. Capacity: 5 GW;
  • Module manufacturing in Xingtai. Capacity: 5 GW;
  • Module manufacturing in Xingtai. Capacity: 11 GW.

The manufacturer launched DeepBlue 4.0X, a new generation of commercially manufactured N-type high-efficiency modules for the global market. According to JA Solar, these panels adopt high-efficiency N-type Bycium+ cell technology, with first shipments in December 2022.
