A Jetion Solar announced the signing of a contract to supply 33 MWp to Ecoprime Itália, in projects located in Ferrara and Udine, in the northeast of the country. In total, there will be more than 60 thousand high-efficiency monocrystalline double-glass modules from the Jeniüs III 550W + series.

According to the company, double-glass panels have better anti-aging ability and can provide a 30-year linear power guarantee, with a power attenuation of less than 2% in the first year and a linear attenuation of ≤0.45%.

The company further highlighted that the design of such cells allows the gain of electricity generation at the rear of up to 30%, which improves power output and helps owners achieve a high return on investment.

Jetion Solar will mass manufacture HJT modules from 2023

“Ecoprime focuses on providing a range of renewable energy solutions to help customers reduce carbon emissions. We are pleased to join hands with Jetion, a Tier1 module manufacturer”, highlighted Vincenzo Floridia, CEO of Ecoprime, during the online signing ceremony.

“I hope we can work together in the near future to build projects in Ecoprime’s pipeline to the highest quality standards, with attention to innovation and customer service. We look forward to more project development opportunities in Italy in the future,” he said.

Jetion in the world

According to PNIEC, (Italy's National Integrated Energy and Climate Plan), the Italian government has set a target of 52 GW of operational solar capacity by 2030, up from 22 GW currently.

Aiming at this market, Jetion highlighted that it implemented and established a relatively complete marketing network. In 2021, for example, it announced contributions of 150 million euros to start the Italian energy-saving building renovation project and established the Jetion Solar (Europe) Engineering Company in Rome.

At the same time, offshore storage centers in Rotterdam, the Netherlands, and Belgium were gradually established. Currently, more than 50 MWp of high-efficiency monocrystalline modules are prepared in stock.

“In addition, a storage plan of more than 100 MWp was planned, which will radiate further to Europe and outline the global industrial chain”, concluded the manufacturer in a note.
