For the first time in almost 90 years, O Crea-SP (State Regional Engineering and Agronomy Council) will have a wife holding the position of president of the entity.
This is a civil engineer Lígia Marta Mackey, which in this year's elections the institution received 67% of valid votes, being chosen by 14.6 thousand of just over 22 thousand entity professionals.
Graduated from EPP (School of Engineering of Piracicaba) of FUMEP (Municipal Teaching Foundation of Piracicaba), Lígia was vice-president of Crea-SP in 2022 and assumed leadership for a period of six months, when president Vinicius Marchese was on leave .
“I feel honored to have the approval of the majority of professionals to continue this important work of innovation that has been transforming the council’s services and our entire organizational culture”, said Lígia, who will take command of the São Paulo council in January 2024.
