O GD Forum Southeast Region happensme in the days 6 It is 7 in March, at the Blue Tree Villa, in São Paulo (SP). In this edition, the event he had one record in public, over two thousand people.

The event featured lectures and a fair, highlighting topics such as the Free Energy Market, flow reversal and DG (distributed generation) regulations, discussions on the current renewable energy scenario in Brazil and trends for the sector in the coming years.

Tiago Fraga, CEO of Grupo FRG Mídias & Eventos, the company responsible for organizing the 22nd edition of the event, said that the choice to hold it in São Paulo occurred because the state is the largest in the number of connections of distributed micro and mini generation systems. .

“The event, once again, managed to fulfill its role. It managed to bring together some of the main experts in distributed generation with renewable sources, important names that are part of major players both in Brazil and abroad”, he said.

“They were also at the event talking about new trends, new technologies, big news, what will be increased this year, especially energy storage and other technologies. The feeling is of duty accomplished” concludes the CEO.

Reports from some participants

Marina Pimentel, electrical engineer with more than 16 years' experience in the renewable area, states that the event brought a very positive experience.

“I thought it was really cool. The themes are very interesting, especially for integrators. We work more on bringing together the ends, integrators and those who want to buy and those who want to sell, so for us it is a good opportunity to see new technologies, who is on the market and make this circle”, he commented.

Furthermore, Marina said that the event was very interesting, as it brought networking among all participants, where it was possible not only to receive knowledge, but also to create effective businesses.

For Ivan Okumura, civil engineer and integrator, the proximity of the event to the region where he lives was one of the points that led him to participate in the forum in São Paulo.

“I really liked the part about Mercado Livre, which is very active on this issue. These updates are very important because they change a lot of things for the end customer”, he comments.

“I also liked the technical part because technologies are also always changing, like hybrid inverters, the use of batteries is also really cool for us to be up to date” highlights Ivan.
